Friends of the Burnsville Performing
Arts Center is a not-for-profit (501c3) fund-raising
organization established to support the development and ongoing
success of the center.
Contributions to FOBPAC from individuals and corporate
sponsors are used to support community and non-profit
organizations using the
BPAC and sponsorships for programming at
the venue.
Friends of BPAC Raised $400,000+
During the construction phase of the BPAC we raised well in
excess of $400,000 in cash and in-kind donations from
individuals, foundations, and corporations. These funds were
used for enhancements to the BPAC; Better Seats, First Class
Audio System, Floors and Mirrors in Rehearsal Rooms, Floors in
the Black Box Theater, the John and Betty Adamich Box Office and
other amenities to make the BPAC an outstanding venue for visual
and performing arts and corporate and community events.
Recently, the Friends helped the BPAC acquire a 9ft Steinway
Concert Grand Piano essential for a fist class concert venue.
FriendsBPAC Provides Financial
Support to Community Organizations
With the completion of the BPAC the Friends have refocused their
mission to raising funds to support community and non-profit
organizations using the BPAC and sponsorships for programming.
To date we have provided financial support to the
Dakota Valley Symphony,
Chameleon Theater Circle,
Art and All the Jazz Festival and the
Pan Asian Festival. We also sponsored
Celtic Crossroads appearance at the BPAC on January 30th, 2011.
You Can Help Bring
Outstanding Performing Groups to the BPAC
We invite you to make a contribution to the FriendsBPAC
Community Arts and Program Funds. These funds will be used to support non-profit
community based performing and visual arts organizations using
the BPAC and to sponsor outstanding events for the community to
enjoy.
